Plastic Agglomerator

The Plastic Agglomerator (Densifier) is an essential recycling machine designed to convert low-bulk-density plastic waste, like PE/PP film and woven bags, into dense, granular aggregates called agglomerates. Its function relies on frictional heat: high-speed rotating blades rapidly cut and agitate the material within a cylindrical chamber, causing the temperature to rise to the softening point. Just before full melting, a sudden injection of cold water causes a thermal shock, instantly solidifying the tacky plastic into dense, irregular, popcorn-like granules. This process significantly increases bulk density, making the material easy to handle, store, and consistently feed into a subsequent extruder or pelletizer, which ultimately improves the efficiency of the entire recycling line.
